　　纽约的公园里，菲力兹（Skip Hinnant 配音）和他的朋友打算约对面的三个女孩。于是，他向三个女孩谎称自己有一颗等待救赎的灵魂，邀请她们去“救赎”（Seek the Truth），随即将他们带到了一个肮脏的公寓内，四个人一丝不挂的在浴缸里进行他们的“救赎”行动。另一方面，猪警察为了逮捕逃犯，走进了公寓，逃犯趁机躲进了浴室，猪警察冲进了浴室，不巧浴室的水管爆破，将所有人都冲走了。
　　菲力兹回到了自己的寝室，但室友没忽视它的存在，他决定离开这里，并打算一把火将这一切化为灰烬。火势蔓延整个宿舍，将整个房子烧毁……
　　影片改编自罗伯特（Robert Crumb）的同名漫画，是美国第一部被评为X级别的动画电影，影片描述一只拟人猫在60年代中期的纽约市，探讨了享乐主义和社会政治意识，以及种族关系，自由运动，与左翼和右翼政治。
